Your Support
Your support allows New Horizons to provide additional tuition assistance for Boulder families living in poverty, to put a high quality preschool experience into their hands, and to give more of Boulder’s children a jump start on success through education.

Donations to New Horizons are tax-deductible as a 501(c)3 charitable organization and qualify for a Child Care Contribution Tax Credit – taxpayers that make a monetary contribution to promote child care in Colorado may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution.
40% Tuition Reduction in 2025/26 School Year
This year, our tuition income has dropped 40% due to the ongoing transition from the Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) to Universal Pre-K (UPK) and reductions in local child care subsidies.
Previously, 22 three- and four-year-olds were supported through CPP; this year, 12 four-year-olds are enrolled through UPK, and all low-income three-year-olds attend tuition-free. Combined with cuts to the City of Boulder Child Care Subsidy and a two-year freeze on Boulder County’s CCAP program, these changes will fully deplete the reserves we’ve built over the past decade.
